The meeting with Mercer didn't end when we left his office.

He followed up an hour later. Another message. This time requesting a second meeting.

*My office. 3 PM today. I have more questions. This is not optional.*

I showed Elias between classes. His face went pale.

"Again? We just saw him this morning."

"He's not done."

"What else could he possibly ask?"

"Everything. He's going to push harder this time."
