Ronan’s POV

The moment Vale said someone tried to access Elias’s medical file, something inside me snapped. Not loud. Not messy. Just a sharp break deep in my chest.

Elias went pale fast. His breathing changed. His legs shook a little, and I reached for his arm before he dropped.

I moved him toward the nearest chair. “Sit.”

He did, eyes wide and lost.

Vale closed the door and locked it. He looked tired for the first time since I met him. Tired and angry.
