CHAPTER TWENTY NINE

LYRA

I needed air. After staring at Riven's note until my eyes hurt I couldn't stay in my chamber anymore. The walls felt like they were closing in on me and the silence was too loud. So I grabbed a cloak and made my way to the courtyard, hoping the cold would clear my head.
