Erick hit the ground, rolled, and looked for Deborah in the dark.

They had fallen into a room under the shrine. The old stones above were still cracking. Dust fell, but the walls were okay.

They had symbols that glowed a little because of Erick's marks.

"Deborah!" he shouted, and his voice bounced off the stone.

A soft groan answered.
