Deborah’s POV

The Council meeting went terribly.

Deborah sat in the archives three hours later, looking at her hands. They seemed normal, no fire or silver light, but she could still feel her power inside, waiting.

Elder Morgana had questioned them a lot about the Alpha's Eclipse, their research, and what they'd found. Deborah had lied, saying they hadn't found anything important. Morgana didn't believe her, but she couldn't prove it.
