I adjusted my cufflink and looked at my reflection one last time.

The tuxedo was a masterpiece. The charcoal gray jacket fit perfectly across my shoulders, the black velvet peak lapels catching the light as I moved. Underneath, the white Marcella shirt was stiff and cool against my skin, smelling of expensive starch and fresh laundry. The black silk bow tie sat perfectly at my throat, hand-tied.
