Grayson's POV

The helicopter cuts through gray afternoon sky. I stare out the window at clouds and snow-covered landscape below, but all I see is that video.

Baron and Lira. My children.

Their faces light up the phone screen in my memory—bright green eyes, golden hair, Lynn's smile on Lira's face and my own stubbornness in Baron's jaw. They're beautiful. Healthy. Happy.

They don't know me. Don't know their father exists.

But they will. Soon.
