**Lynn's POV**

Yanis bursts into the bathroom. His presence gives me the opening I need.

I dart past Lucas and Evelina. Past Yanis. Out into the hallway.

"Lynn, wait!" Evelina calls.

I don't wait. Don't stop. Don't look back.

Down the hallway. Past the elevators—too slow. I take the stairs. My heels click against concrete as I descend floor after floor.

I won't go back with them. Won't let them convince me ...
