Rough hands drag me through the back exit. Cold air hits my face but I can't feel it properly. Everything is distant. Muffled.

"Get her in the van," Victoria's voice. Distorted. Like speaking through water.

I'm lifted. Thrown. My body hits metal. Hard. The impact should hurt but the drug dulls everything.
