23: The Bonding

I know we’re bonded the second I open my eyes. The sun’s first light casts rays down on us as we huddle close in the undergrowth of the forest floor. Our naked bodies fit together like two puzzle pieces. As I shift my position, Logan scoots in closer, pulling me into his embrace.
