Rhysand's POV

I approached her instead of leaving the room and pulled her into my arms. I kissed her lips, and she was astonished, but she accepted my kiss for moments before realizing what she had done.

“What was that for?” She asked after pushing me backwards with all her strength. 

“I'd never let anyone hurt you.” I vowed before leaving the room, Grayson was waiting for me by the end of the hallway.
