I didn't hear what they were saying but I could vividly see the tension on Carmen's face so it made me wonder what they were going back and forth about that made Carmen have trouble breathing.

What could be so devastating to have done that to her?

“Ladies are having a conversation, you shouldn't be here Rhysand.”

“What do you mean? That's my partner so I had to come check on her, besides dinner is almost ready so…”
