I had to be by her side, but Mrs. Raquel asked me to take a look at the shipment that we would be taking to be certain it was complete. 

I wished Carmen would wake up so we could leave in time for Kethan's birthday. His birthday is the day after tomorrow, so we have at least a day to get back to Mexico. 

I rejected using the ship as a means of travel because we won't make it in time for Kethan's birthday. It's a promise that Carmen made, and I intend to uphold it.
