Rhett was staring at Richardson lying in his own pool of blood. She shot him wondering what must have led to it. I reached for Richardson to put pressure on the bullet wound. 

“Call Selene, there’s an emergency,” I ordered as he looked into my eyes. 

“You don’t know what you’ve done. You’re going to die by this time someday.” He breathed his last right there in my hands, it dawned on me that he figured out Chloe had sex with me.
