As we approach the outskirts of town, an uneasy tension grips me tighter with each passing mile. The scenery grows more recognizable. Trees whip by, houses appear, and familiar signs seem to mock my apprehension. When the last shards of sunlight vanish, we finally roll into Healdsburg.
