I convince myself that Kaelith doesn’t see me in that way. Honestly, I’m not sure if any of them actually do—well, aside from Taewon and Orien. My mind drifts to my silver dragon, picturing how he might have handled all of this mess if he were still around. Would he have stood with Evan too? Not that it matters much; he never stuck to his word when it came to staying in touch with me.
