As I stood within the ancient symbol, a strange sensation washed over me, and I felt my body begin to lift, my feet leaving the ground. 

I was enveloped by an eerie glow, the soft, pulsing light of the ritual circle illuminating everything around me.

The threads of magic wrapped around me like living light, hummed as it claimed me.

My body wasn’t entirely my own anymore.

I could feel everything, from the runes beneath the floor vibrating, the air trembling, the fear ...
