The chauffeur dropped us at a quiet, elegant restaurant tucked between glass buildings.

The warm lights were glowing through the windows, soft music drifting out when the doors opened. 

I hesitated for a heartbeat, feeling underdressed and out of place… but Louise gently nudged the door open for me.
