As we stepped onto the stage, my heart pounded so hard I could almost hear it echo through the microphone. 

The bright lights felt blinding at first, but when I looked out and saw the crowd cheering, a hint of relief washed over me. 

We began our presentation, and each word flowed better than I had rehearsed, and to my relief, everything went smoothly.

Then came the big moment, our star dress.
