When I opened my eyes, the world spun in shades of green and grey. My body ached as though I had fallen from the sky. 

The Damp Earth clung to my palms when I tried to push myself up. The air was cold and heavy with the smell of moss and smoke.

I heard faint voices drifting through the trees. 

“So this is the wench he bought from the human world,” one of them said, his tone thick with disgust.
