Then, I noticed something strange. The large pendant began to glow softly, shining a faint green light from inside the glass box.

At first, I thought it was just the light playing tricks on me, but the glow became stronger and mine around my neck followed suit.

My heart started beating fast as the glass box began to shake, making a rattling sound that echoed through the quiet hall.
