Claire’s POV. 

Alpha Damien’s voice carried through the council chamber, in a calm yet commanding tone.

I sat still as every nerve in me woke as he turned to Alpha Xavier.

“These are the conditions,” he said, using his wolf's voice. 

I held my breath as he began to list them.

“First,” he said, “you will show Claire respect at all times. You will not raise your voice, hand, or power against her, in private or before others.”
