Beach date.

Betty's POV. 

After dinner, Damien suggested we walk along the beach. 

I slipped off my heels, letting them dangle from my fingers as we descended the wooden steps to the sand.

The night air was perfect, cool enough to be refreshing, and warm enough that I didn't need a jacket. 

The ocean stretched out endlessly before us, dark and mysterious, with moonlight painting silver paths across the waves.

"This is nice," I said softly, glancing up at Damien as we walked side by side.
