It's been two days since I found out my ‘sweet aunt’ Catherine was back in Sterling, and I’d spent every one of them searching for ways to limit her control.

Two days of sleepless nights and cold coffee. Two days of coming up empty.

I stood in my kitchen now, fully dressed for work, one hand wrapped around my mug as I stared out the window and tried not to think about how quickly she’d moved.
