For a few seconds, I honestly forgot to move.

Now that I was actually standing there, I could see just how much thought had gone into the setup.

The table wasn’t simply set for dinner.

A crisp white tablecloth covered the surface, with polished silverware placed neatly beside two plates. Crystal glasses waited at each setting, and a small arrangement of white flowers sat between them, low enough that it wouldn’t get in the way when we were talking.
