Elena's POV

We stayed at Caleb’s house for three more days after leaving the cabin.

I was ready to leave that night because of work, but somehow, by the time we got back to his place, Caleb convinced me to stay a little longer.

Neither of us seemed to mind the extra time together.

The days passed easily. We slept late, spent hours talking, and more than once ended up back in bed together before either of us was ready to admit how easily we could lose an entire day that way.
