Despite all the worries weighing on me, I still managed to sleep soundly. Or perhaps I slept because it was the only way to give rest to my exhausted body and mind. I was about to get up when a sudden wave of dizziness hit me. It felt as if the whole room was spinning, forcing me to lie back down. I glanced at the clock—it was only six in the morning. It was still early; Jairee wouldn’t wake up until later. Maybe I could still go back to sleep.
