I woke up early the next morning.

I didn’t have any particular plans except to work. I grabbed my laptop to check if there were emails or tasks waiting, but there was nothing pressing. I closed it again.

As I stared blankly into space, a thought suddenly hit me.

Why not start planning the renovations here at the house? Even if I leave, someone will remain to oversee everything. Nay Tasing is here, anyway.
