Austin’s POV

It was almost lunchtime when I passed by the school. The workers were on break. I didn’t see Faith earlier when I arrived. Maybe she wasn’t coming today. Maybe it was better that way—so I wouldn’t see her on my last day here in Zambales.

I went straight to the workers. I gave all the instructions they needed. I would send people to monitor the development anyway, so I felt at ease.
