Half an hour later, the simulation test ended. The visual results in front of me were so good it made me genuinely look forward to the next stage—the full-on road simulation.

The self-driving car managed to get through an insanely complicated setup without a hitch. If an autonomous system could really be that accurate, that mature… owning a car like that would mean fewer accidents. It would be a blessing for a lot of people.
