I was Furious she came.

Furious at how the room reacted.

Furious at myself, for not being able to look away in this critical moment.

She didn’t pause.. Didn’t even glance at the alphas or the snarling wolves that wanted her gone.

She walked straight to where other members were.

Then she sat.

Her leg crossed over the other.

Her back straight.

Her chin lifted.
