Julian’s POV

The door opened wider.

A man stepped in, dressed in all black, tall and serious. His eyes didn’t even blink when he saw us. Like he’d walked in on things like this before.

He kept his head low and spoke only to Bianca.

“My Lady,” he said. “Forgive me.”

She didn’t flinch. She didn’t even bother covering up.

“Speak,” she said, calm as ever.
