“Then nothing. No one. Can destroy this. But us,” Paul states.

“I was so afraid Paul,” I whisper against the rising tide of emotions. Emotions that are bubbling throughout me.

“Afraid of what?” Paul asks. He takes his first step bridging the distance between us. The heat in the room rises as he grows closer. “Eleanor. What are you afraid of?”
