*Brielle’s POV*

The rest of breakfast is, in a word, tense. We do not discuss business, Jonathan’s actions, or anything pertaining the attack from last night. The only conversation that starts up is when my mother decides to talk to my uncle about birthday gifts and party favors she should bring for the younger, teenage cousins.
