Chapter Thirty Seven: Festive Spirit
The Sirens’ cavern, now glowed with life. Golden lanterns hung from the stone arches, their light glimmering over the surface of the underground lake. The air was sweet with the scent of roasted sea-fruit and spiced roots, the sound of lyres and laughter mingling like waves against the shore.
For the first time in many nights, no one stood guard.
The Sirens had sworn peace. Their voices once weapons against the Tungsten wolves, now sang songs of apology and rebirth.
