Because she could feel the other side too-her real body shaking, Dawn's wolves muttering incantations, the cave thick with danger.

She didn't care.

Elowyn was coming back.

But the world around them began to react.

The white figures started shifting, turning toward the sound.

The light dimmed.

A wind kicked up from nowhere.

The dead world was waking up.

And it did not want to release Elowyn.

The world around Elowyn blurred... and then cleared.
