All too soon, it was Sunday afternoon, and we had to drive back to the small airport to go home. I didn’t think we’d stopped touching once the entire trip. We’d held hands and danced and connected so many times. Nick was like an extension of me, and I wasn’t sure how I would feel when I had to give up that time with him.
