The moment Victor grabbed his phone, I noticed there was a difference.

His face was unapproachable, though in his eyes there flashed a moment of cold, of triumph.

I scrunched up my face when he directed the screen toward me. "Read this," he instructed.

My eyes blinked, still a bit blurred from sleep, when I opened them, my breath caught in my throat.

The title in itself caused my heart to start racing.
