I almost suffocated with laughter that bubbled up to the back of my throat at the ridiculousness of the situation hitting me with a big impact. It was not that they were faking being a family to start with, but that they were also going to attempt to deceive me. So predictable! Yet at the same time, so very much of them. I could not even say that I was shocked.
