Rose's POV

I did not have a concept in my mind about what I wanted, but I wanted a diversion. After the chaos of clothes shopping, I wanted something that could calm my nerves and ground me. I spent a couple of hours with Jasmine, but I could not remove Victor from my thoughts as much as I wanted as well as everything that had gone on in recent days. The new tightening in my chest was a reminder that something did not sit with me correctly, something I could not specify.
