“Barbara warned me and I defended her...” I muttered to myself as I parked my car in front of the dimly lit bar.

The woman I gave my heart to, the one I trusted more than anyone, spent the night in another man’s bed. And not just any man, the same man I saw pecking her the other day.

Imagination of what could have happened last night wouldn't leave my head. Her tousled hair. Her twisted blouse. Her eyes filled with guilt.

I felt stupid. So fucking stupid.
