"Let's go home," Cole said, stretching his hands. I placed my hand on his palm as he dragged me up and we headed towards the car park.

The ride from the hospital had been filled with laughter and gentle teasing after our celebration. I couldn't stop smiling about the new chapter ahead… about him. But nothing, absolutely nothing, could have prepared me for what I was about to walk into.
