Cole’s POV

Amelia's reaction was quick as soon as I said those words.

She whirled around pushing me while her damp curls whipped against my chest. “Cole! What the hell are you doing?”

I didn't move. Did not stop. I clenched my arms around her and fixed my eyes on hers.

Water droplets stuck to her skin and ran down her collarbone and shoulders luring me in.

Her chest rose and fell quickly and her breathing was irregular. She had more than just anger in her eyes though.
