“Uh—thanks.” I said quickly.

“You're welcome.” He replied.

Before either of us could say another word, his phone buzzed as Mr Kyle called him again.

“Mr. Kyle.” He said, as he answered.

“Alex, my boy!” His voice boomed so loud I could hear it from where I was. “Change of plans. I’d like tonight’s dinner to be at my new place. I’ll send you the address.”
