The women I love

Jane Point of View.

With enough energy for however many fights were necessary, I walked toward Jayden, ready to take out all my frustration on his perfect face. But the man who was training us quickly intervened, stepping between us.

"Then, maybe we can do a demonstration for her first. Jane, you can sit here on the mat and observe how the fight dynamics work," Seo suggested. Before I could argue and say how ready I was for this fight, they started greeting each other in the ring like some kind of ritual unknown to me.

I moved a little distance away and sat on the floor, putting my arms behind my body to support my weight, which exposed my lap a bit. I only realized this when Seo looked at me blatantly while smiling, and at that moment, Jayden gave him a light punch, calling his attention.

"Why that? I didn't even say we'd started yet," Seo asked indignantly, and Jayden shrugged with a smile.

"Just to keep you on your toes!" His tone was playful, but I knew he didn't like it.

They practiced some moves to warm up and then started the fight. While they fought, Seo showed me leg movements and how to dodge strikes. The fight was a kind of dance because when one advanced, the other had to retreat, and if you didn't know how to move your feet, you could have problems. As the fight intensified, they used various types of strikes. They started sweating, and I couldn't take my eyes off Jayden. The fabric of his red tank top began to stick to his body due to the sweat running down it, becoming slightly transparent and showing all the divisions in his abdomen.

Sweat dripped from his face, and his hair was wet with it. I was mesmerized. The sounds he made as the fight grew more intense sometimes sounded like moans that brought back memories of everything I wanted to forget. I was drinking water, hoping to relieve the heat that seemed to spread through my body and burn me like a fever. I was so distracted watching him that I didn't notice when Seo approached me, calling my attention.

"Jane?" I could hear someone talking to me from afar, but I couldn't focus.

Jayden looked at me with a sly smile while drinking water and pushing some strands of hair away from his face. He knew that seeing him like this was affecting me.

"Jane?" Seo called my name again.

I finally snapped out of the trance I was in and nodded.

"Shall we?" Seo asked, guiding me to the mat, and I agreed.

I was already warmed up in every possible way. We started our fight-dance, and he was surprised when I quickly spun and delivered a punch he defended with some difficulty.

"I see you paid a lot of attention to the instructions," Seo teased, and I smiled.

"Let's say it's not my first time," I replied, returning his provocation.

I attacked him again and managed to knock him to the ground a little more easily than I expected. I thought he was letting me win, and that idea irritated me. When I thought I was on top, he got behind me and put his arm around my neck, immobilizing my body. Jayden was getting increasingly nervous, and I could see from his look how much it bothered him. I tapped the ground, showing I had given up, but when I managed to break free, I put Seo in a leg lock while he was still distracted, and he smiled.

"You got me," Seo said with a smile, clearly not bothered by my move.

"I think you're going too easy on me," I stated through gritted teeth, showing my irritation.

He smiled and quickly changed positions, forcing my legs open, easily breaking free, and pulling one of my arms back while pressing his body against mine. At that moment, I saw Jayden throw the water bottle away and approach, grabbing my hand.

"That's enough for today!" Jayden stated, guiding me out of there.

"Jayden!" I called his name in a reprimanding tone, but when he turned around, he looked at me in a way that completely dominated me. His anger was palpable, and my body trembled.

"I said enough." His voice was low but threatening. I wasn't afraid of him, but I decided not to argue because, with his impulsive nature, he might end up making a scene.

I nodded and took off the gloves, handing them to Seo, who now seemed confused by our interaction. I left without looking back, heading to the locker room, relieved to see it was empty, which didn't surprise me as I had only seen two women in the gym when I arrived, and they had already left. I went to the locker and grabbed my bag, taking out soap and a towel. I left my bag open on a wooden bench near the shower, took off my clothes, and turned on the shower, letting the water wash away the thin layer of sweat covering my body.

I heard a noise at the door and then what sounded like the click of a lock. I started soaping up but was focused on the sound of footsteps filling the space and getting closer. My body froze when I saw Jayden approaching. His gaze traveled over my body from head to toe, and just by looking at me, I had already surrendered. His eyes, though dark with desire, had a different sparkle, not purely sexual. He seemed completely devoted to me, as I was to him, and before I knew it, our bodies were pressed together like two magnets always drawn to each other.

It felt like we hadn't touched in months, as the urgency with which we devoured each other showed he wanted me as much as I wanted him. He looked into my eyes, and whenever he did, I would look away because I felt guilty and afraid. A fear I wouldn't admit even to myself. Fear of feeling so connected to him that I would suffer when he got tired of me because I knew that day would come sooner or later.

But unlike other times, I was unable to look away. I was completely lost in his brown eyes, in which I dove in every possible way. When we finished, I was completely satisfied in a way I knew I would never feel with anyone else. He was leaning against the wall, trying to catch his breath, and a smile appeared on his lips. He helped me up, pulling me to him and hugging me tightly. He took my face in his hands and kissed my lips. I allowed myself to taste him and felt the urgency of his touch. When he ended our kiss, he left two pecks on my mouth and kissed my face. He pulled our faces slightly apart to look into my eyes and said what I never thought I wanted to hear from him.

"I love you," Jayden confessed.

I ended up smiling, not expecting to get emotional hearing him say that. The first time he said he was in love with me, I was terrified. So what has changed? I couldn't respond the way he expected, but he seemed happy that I smiled.

"But didn't you say you didn't want me anymore? That you were tired of me?" I asked in a whiny voice, and I noticed he melted. He stroked my face, and I could see the sparkle in his eyes. Damn Jayden! Why do you have to look at me like that? I was falling more and more for his charms, knowing the risks.

"I lied," he explained, and I looked at him, confused.

"Why?" I asked, indignant at this information.

"Can we talk about this more calmly later?" He asked in his soft, sweet voice, and I nodded. Jayden hugged me again and guided me under the shower, where we let the water run over our bodies. We started soaping up, and he blew foam on my face, making me let out a little scream while splashing water on him, and he smiled at me.

"Not like that, soap got in my eye!" I complained, and he pulled me to him, still smiling. He used his wet hand to remove the foam from the spot, and I ended up laughing.

"Sorry, love," he apologized, but he was still laughing at the situation.

We finished the shower and got dressed. We left as if nothing had happened, but the smile and lightness on our faces gave us away. I couldn't deny I was happy we had made up, no matter how confusing and dangerous it seemed. We reached the parking lot, and he opened the car door for me. He walked around, getting in, and once inside, he gave me another kiss. I started smiling like a fool, reflecting on the smile on his face, and then I whined.

"Jayden, someone might see!" I grumbled, trying to hide how much I loved it.

"Sorry, I can't control myself," Jayden replied in a sweet tone.

He looked even more handsome when he was happy. This smile was messing with my mind, and I didn't know how to deal with this duality. He seemed sad for a moment and took my hand, intertwining his fingers with mine.

"What's wrong?" I asked, intrigued by this sudden change.

He brought my hand to his lips and kissed it.

"I hate this part," Jayden explained, his eyes sad.

"What part?" I asked, worried, and he sighed.

"The part where I have to take you home," he said simply, pouting.

His eyes, which had been shining moments before, now seemed sad, and I looked away, staring at our intertwined hands.

"Well, we both know it has to be this way," I stated, feeling heavy-hearted.

"Until when?" Jayden asked.

He seemed hopeful, as if expecting the answer to a question he hadn't asked.

"Jae, let's not ruin this moment, please! We just made up," I pleaded, fearing we might fight again.

He nodded and gave me another kiss. He broke the kiss and was about to start the car, but seemed to think for a moment and smiled as if an idea had popped into his head.

"What?" I asked, intrigued by his boyish look.

"Daon won't be coming home tonight. He's spending the night at the studio, so I was thinking about something," Jayden explained, leaving a hint of mystery.

"What were you thinking about?" I asked, smiling, already knowing where he was going with that.

He moved closer to me, his face near mine, and I knew I couldn't deny him anything when he smiled like that.

"How about spending the night with me?" he asked hopefully, and I couldn't help but laugh at his expression.

He looked like a child asking for a toy from his parents, his eyes eagerly searching for any sign of approval.

"But what if Daon gets home before me?" I asked worriedly, despite wanting to fulfill his request.

"I can take you back early in the morning. Besides, I have access to Mix's security alarm, so I'll know exactly when they finish recording because they'll activate the alarm. Since the company is farther away, we'll have plenty of time to get to your house," Jayden explained his whole plan.

I couldn't resist his boyish smile and nodded, making him celebrate.

"Soon, we'll have a loyalty card for the motel," I joked, and he gave me a sidelong look that took my breath away.

"But we're not going to any motel," he stated firmly.

"Then where are we going?" I asked, intrigued.

"To my house," he explained, and I looked at him in surprise, knowing he never took any woman to his house.

"What?" he asked, noticing my expression.

"I thought you never took women to your house," I argued, teasing him, and he looked at me with such tenderness that I melted.

"You're not just any woman. You're the woman I love," Jayden affirmed, looking into my eyes. And if before, when I thought I was just another one for him, it was already a problem, now I knew I was completely lost in this labyrinth that was the man I was falling in love with.
