Nancy’s POV

After Ronnie leaves for work, I take a walk around the house. I’ve seen it all before, but it feels different now that I live here. He doesn’t have a lot of decorative things around the house, like pillows, blankets, and plants. I wonder if he’d be mad if I added some.

Walking from room to room, I come upon Ronnie’s home office. He never said I wasn’t allowed in here, so I step in and look around.
