There was no way of telling how long Mykel spent chasing after the imposter. Everytime he felt that he was getting close to her, she would disappear and lead him down deeper into the ruins of the city he had come to know so well. The best thing he could say about his current situation was that so far, it seemed like the shadow creatures had no interest in attacking him.
