I look at myself in the mirror, and when the green-eyed woman stares back at me, I still can’t believe we’re the same person. I look like someone completely different. Honestly, I almost dare say I look… beautiful today. I lift my hand, instinctively reaching for my face, but before I can touch it, the makeup artist gently pushes my hand away.
