I came to the ball in Eriella. Hopes were high as I wanted to get married soon. If only my father would have stopped begging me for an heir. I would never have married. As a werewolf and an Alpha. I had to set a good example for my pack.

So I decided to send out messages that I wanted a marriage for an heir. I knew with this much tainted personality , no princess in her right mind would give me her hand in marriage. I was shocked when I received a very interesting letter from the king of Eriella.

I am king Elias of Eriella, I received your letter. I am very interested to let you know that my lovely daughter, Princess Audrey, was finding it hard to find a match for herself. As I read in your letter that you are ready to give any price for a princess. My daughter is very independant minded. Which the Princes around the world are not looking for in a companionship . My daughter desires to rule her own kingdom. As her father, I did give her a lot of freedom in her childhood and that has resulted in her wanting to be the ruler of Eriella. She had rejected every match who threatened to challenge her independent mind. If you choose to marry her, I should let you know in advance that she does not like being told what to do. My terms are simple- Let her rule Eriella and never raise a hand on her, never bring any mistress. She is my gem. If you are still interested I am willing to give my most precious daughter to you in marriage.

It was very interesting that he only asked for these two things. Audrey! She sounded lovely. Before thinking anything, I wrote a reply to him, stating that I am willing to marry her. She was daring and bold to ask for things only men in this world can do. She would be a perfect fit for me. I quickly sent the letter. I received an invitation to a ball a day later. In so many years, this was my first invitation. I was interested in her. I would love to meet her. When I told father about her, instead of being happy that I will be getting married he asked, "Is she a wolf?" Fuck I had forgotten. How could I forget such a crucial detail? She clearly was not. If she was he would have known of her.

I told him bluntly, "As long as she can give you an heir. My duty is done." With that I left.

Now, I was in the ball. Drinking scotch. I saw a lady make her way towards the bar. Well, in my years of balls. I never saw a single lady make her way to the bar. It was weird and unusual. Though she came and asked, "Make me a strong drink!" The command in her tone made me believe that she was Princess Audrey. She was beautiful with her blonde hair wrapped in a bun and her green eyes reminded me of the forest. I could not believe that nobody fell for her beauty. She made me weak. The words she said after hearing him refuse. I was about to offer my own drink but she took it first and gulped it in a go. "You were clearly in need of it than me." I said in a greeting manner. She replied, "Thank you, I am a little anxious right now." "Understandable." I said, feeling that it might have to do something with me. She took the glass from the bartender and gestured towards me, I clicked our glasses together and said, "Let your worries be carried away."

She drank it in a hurry and left. I felt sore all over my body after two full days of travel. It would not hurt to rest. I had a feeling that the announcement would take awhile. I went to the room which was assigned to me. My stay here for a week. The room was decent and I turned the lights off. Wanting to celebrate the upcoming full moon night. I made myself a drink and went to the window to gaze up at it. I could feel the moon light falling on me.

I picked someone cursing outside my door. It had to be someone wanting to find their room. It happened to me all the time so I gave it no thought. That was when my door flew open. Well, whoever it was had my room key with them. I turned and my eyes met with a forest green of hers. It was Audrey. My shock did not end there as she shrugged her coat off her body. Fuck! She was in a fucking night dress.
