Dear Kylie,

Forgive me for how long this letter took to arrive to you. I returned to my home a few days ago, but I was held up by visits to the doctors and what not, and so did not get the time to write you a letter. Thank you very much for your own prompt reply, though. It warmed my heart to see an envelope with your name on it when I walked back into my house.
